As a child, I created a painting in art class using simple techniques: watercolors, water and brushes, selected colors, folding the paper together and then blowing through a small tube.
The task was to observe what we could see, to breathe life into our imagination and creativity, and after folding the paper together, to create our own statements and forms through blowing.
When I found this picture again many years later in my old art folder from primary school, this painting was created as a homage to my forgotten love for art, which had already begun to bloom within me at a young age.
A painting, of course, cannot simply be folded together. So instead, I worked more with rollers and my own hands before blowing into the paint and then observing what had emerged. Afterwards, I consciously brought out individual elements again with a brush as visible accents.
The rest is left to each person’s own imagination.
